Cross country took place at Huskisson on Saturday 18th July. Luca Sturgiss was the winner in the 1km event, finishing under 6 minutes with 5:59. Olive Sturgiss was second in 6:48 followed by Sophie Giumelli (10:23) and Patrick Giumelli (10:24).
Henry Giumelli took the win in the 2km event in 10:01. Grace Parmenter was second in 13:36 and Lani Parmenter was third in 11:05. Peter Dooley was fourth in 10:26 followed by Hollie Giumelli in 12:14. Zayne Taylor clocked the second fastest time of 8:50 in sixth place, with Maddi Wills seventh in 12:10. Owen Jones recorded the fastest time of 8:44 and then the field was rounded out by Hamish Bennett in 12:37.
Ben Emmerton claimed the points for the 3km win in 16:57. Mitch Emmerton was second in 17:07 with Ari Cisneros third in 15:24. Walter Cisneros was next in 16:05 followed by Alex Arnold in 19:06. Declan Bennett was the fastest on course in 13:18. Alex Emmerton was seventh in 16:31 and Jack Kinsele completed the field in 14:39.
Medium course had nine competitors with Matt Kinsele taking the win as the fastest runner in 23:57. Steve McCullagh was second in 24:43 and Tony Lim was third in 27:56. Mark Parmenter finished in 30:20 followed by Dean Bryce in 24:27 then Paige Connolly-Davies in 26:04. Sam Keogh ran through in 27:45 followed by Glenn Sansom (26:36) and Katie Martin (34:28).
Four runners contested the long course and the win went to Rebecca Cooper in 52:59. Scott Johnson was second in 54:42, Lucas Johnson third in 46:18 and Scott Martin finished fourth in the points with a time of 42:43.
