It was great to see a good number of athletes and family members at the final cross country event of the season on Saturday 9th August. It was a fun afternoon of running and celebrating the season that was.
Grace Parmenter took 1st place in the 1km event, having completed 12 rounds. Hamish Bennett managed 6 rounds and Olive Zadkovich 5 rounds.
Lani Parmenter was the outright winner of the 2km division, earning 484 points over 10 rounds.
Emerson Boatswain took out the 3km event with 559 points, accumulated over 12 rounds. Declan Bennett was 2nd with 409 points over 9 rounds and Lisa Carroll was 3rd with 367 points.
Medium course was closely contended with Scott Armstrong taking the win in 555 points closely followed by Paige Connolly-Davies with 544 points. Nathan Rose was 3rd with 539 points, edging out Alex Arnold with 531 points.
Perry Strand won long course with 563 points. Coming in 2nd was Leith Babian with 529 points and Erich Moeller-Duhme was 3rd in 503 points.
