It was a very small crowd of cross country enthusiasts that contested the UOW course on Saturday 12th July.
There was just 1 competitor in the 2km race; Lani Parmenter finished in 12.56.
Robyn Khourey took the win in the 3km event in 25.20 whilst Emerson Boatswain clocked a fast time of 12.11.
The first 3 placegetters in medium course all clocked super close times. Dennis Smart took the win in 20.06 followed by Scott Armstrong in 20.26 then Tom Smart 3rd in 20.19. Alex Arnold was 4th in 31.02, whilst Erin Smart and Evie Smart both crossed next in 24.55.
Long course was won by Peter Khourey in 49.02 with Marty Bell 2nd in 48.55 and Glenn Sansom 3rd in 51.38. Leith Babian was 4th in the fastest time of 40.46 followed by Perry Strand in 45.57 and Rebecca Cooper rounded out the field in 53.26.
We hope to see more numbers return to cross country competition next week.
