Nowra was represented by 12 athletes at the NSW Short Course Cross Country Championships on Saturday 12th July 2025 and had some great results.
In the 11’s 2km race Finn Goddard had a good run for 6th place in 7.20 whilst Declan Bennett was 24th with 8.55.
Kai Thirwall contested the 12 years 2km race, finishing 17th in 7.21 and in the 13 years race Macca Davis was 15th in 6.40.
Lana Crawford had a great run for 10th place in the 14 years race, completing the 3kms in 11.31 whilst Madeline Oke was not far behind in 12th place in 11.44.
In the male 14 years 3km race Hugh Thirwall grabbed a top ten place, crossing 9th in 10.04.
Evie Binney was 17th in the 15 years 3km event with a time of 12.34 and Lily Sproule was 11th in the 16 years event with 11.15.
Hamish McLaren finished 18th in the Under 20 6kms event in 21.27
In the master’s 50-54 years event, Gavin Dyball clocked 25.23 for 6th place and Glen Mustapic was 9th in 29.14.
