The 2026 Australian Athletics UniSport Championships were held on the Gold Coast from 22nd to 24th April, with training partners Harrison Baxter and Will Dyball taking their friendly rivalry to the national stage in the 1500m.
In an incredibly close finish, Harrison just edged out Will at the line, clocking 3:55.16 to finish 7th, with Will only fractions behind in 3:55.25 for 8th place. The pair continue to push each other to new levels, with their competitive training partnership clearly paying off on the track.
Harrison also backed up with a strong performance in the 5000m, running a season best time of 15:08.71 to place 10th against a quality field.
