There were some fantastic results from Club members at the weekend’s Treloar competitions including three National Qualifying performances!
At Treloar #5 in Campbelltown on November 22, Evie Binney made an impressive debut in the 400m hurdles, finishing 2nd in the 15–17 age group and clocking a quick 1:08.37; securing her qualifier for the 2026 Australian Track & Field Championships.
Emerson Boatswain also earned a National Qualifier in her debut 2000m steeplechase, placing 3rd in the 13–14 age group with a strong 8:09.85.
In the Open 3000m steeplechase, Hamish McLaren smashed his previous best with a massive 12-second PB of 10.14.41, also booking his place at the Australian Championships.

Isla Bailie sprinted to 2nd place in the 13–14 girls 200m, running 26.57, just outside her PB and narrowly missing a qualifier.
In the field, Ellie Cooper finished 4th in the 15–17 girls discus with a throw of 23.15m, while Emerson Boatswain backed up strongly, placing 10th in the 13–14 girls discus with 19.04m.
Meanwhile, over at Bankstown, Flynn Kelly had a standout day. winning the 200m in a PB of 24.28, just 0.04 seconds off a National Qualifier. Flynn also claimed victory in the long jump with an impressive leap of 5.64m.
It was an outstanding weekend of performances and a testament to everyone’s hard work and momentum.
