The John Morris Junior Encouragement Award is presented to a junior Club member aged 15 or under who competes in Cross Country at the 2km or 3km distance. This award recognizes a Club member who consistently participates, puts in great effort, and shows noticeable improvement, even if they don’t always finish at the top. It’s about dedication, perseverance, and the drive to continually grow as an athlete.
The Ian Henry Nowra Toyota Senior Encouragement Award is presented to senior Club members over the age of 15 who compete in medium or long-distance Cross Country events. This award honors a Club member who consistently participates, demonstrates strong effort, and shows progress, even if they don’t always finish among the top competitors. It’s a celebration of commitment, improvement, and the determination to push forward in every race.
