The 2026 NSW Masters Championships was held at Campbelltown Athletics Track from 20th–22nd February 2026.
Erin Smart enjoyed another outstanding State Championships, claiming triple gold in the 40–44 years 100m (12.79), 200m (26.07) and 400m (58.99). Erin was a little unlucky in the 60m, stumbling in the drive phase, but recovered strongly to finish 3rd and secure the bronze in 8.23.
Matt Reid produced a superb performance in the 35–39 years 1500m, shaving 16 seconds off his PB to clock 4.37.28 and take the gold medal. He backed this up with another victory in the 800m, recording a further PB of 2.12.15.
Matt Watson earned a podium finish in the 50–54 years 400m, running 1.27.69 for bronze. He also placed 6th in the 800m in 3.26.14.
Gavin Dyball also brought home a bronze medal, finishing 3rd in the 50–54 years 1500m in 5.04.87. He added a 5th place in the 800m, clocking 2.26.47.
Loretta Norris claimed silver in the 40–44 years 800m in 2.32.52, just 5 seconds behind Grafton athlete Lesley White. Loretta also finished 4th in the 400m in 1.04.19.
New member Victoria Hampshire placed 5th in the 40–44 years 200m in 28.79 and 6th in the 60m in 8.70.
In the field events, Anne Boatswain secured three medals. She won silver in both the 50–54 years long jump (2.80m) and shot put (9.61m), and bronze in the triple jump (7.32m). Anne also placed 4th in the discus with a throw of 22.00m.
