Nowra entered just two events at this year’s NSW Relay Championships – our smallest representation in many years. However, the team of Erin Smart, Joanna Lodge, Sam Keogh and Loretta Norris flew the flag proudly for Nowra, bringing home two medals!
In the Women’s Masters 160+ 4x400m Relay, the team dominated the field, claiming gold in an impressive 4:18.82. They finished well ahead of Manly Warringah (5:20.40) and Canterbury Athletics Club (6:19.09).
In the 4x100m Relay, the team added a silver medal with a strong 53.30 performance, finishing behind UTS Northern Suburbs (51.91) and ahead of Canterbury Athletics Club (1:06.73).
A huge congratulations to our incredible Masters women — what an outstanding effort!
