Cross country was held at Longreach Rd on Saturday 26th July. There was just 1 competitor in each of the 1 and 2km events with Grace Parmenter finishing the 1km in 7.16 and Lani Parmenter clocking 12.48 in the 2km.
In the 3km event Emerson Boatswain took the win in the fastest time of 13.26. Geoff Crook was 2nd in 17.26 and Glenn Sansom was 3rd in 15.54. Lhiam Crook was 4th in 17.06, Malachy Martin was 5th in 22.17 and Grace Rose was 6th in 31.46.
Medium course had 7 competitors with Nathan Rose taking victory in 36.03. Scott Armstrong was the 2nd runner home in 21.17 and Matt Reid was 3rd with the fastest time of 20.59. Paige Connolly-Davies was 4th in 27.01 followed by George Connolly in 27.07. Alex Arnold was 6th in 34.43 and Rod Rose rounded out the field in 36.08.
Scott Martin was the winner of long course in 42.40. Leith Babian clocked the fastest time of 39.30 in 2nd place whilst Jasper Arnold was 3rd in 46.03 and Perry Strand was 4th in 48.53. The Club welcomed back Annie Schofield to local cross country, who finished long course in 1.00.11.
