Lana Crawford had a good win in the 800m at Nowra Track and Field Competition on 15th February, clocking 02:51.07. Evie Binney was 2nd in 02:52.33 and Evie Smart was 3rd in 03:06.05.
Hamish McLaren took out the 2km in 06:52.81 whilst Lana Crawford was 2nd in 08:01.32 and Evie Binney was 3rd in 08:03.46.
Matt Reid showed good form in the sprints, recording 8.07 in the 60m and 25.73 in the 200m. Young Riley Sandstrom was also impressive with 9.72 in the 60m and 33.16 in the 200m.
It’s great to have the Keogh family back at Nowra Athletics. Sam Keogh hasn’t lost her form, clocking 9.36 in the 60m and 31.99 in the 200m. Sam also set a new record in the 40-49 years shot put put with her throw of 8.18m. Charli Keogh and Jaxon Keogh also enjoyed the sprints and field events.
Tim Musson demonstrated his throwing prowess with a record throw in the 40-49 years hammer, hurling 19.00m. Also enjoying the hammer event was Tori Sayer with a biggest throw of 24.70m, Melinda Jennings with 18.10m, Kerrie Jones with 18.25m and Scott McLaren with 13.98m.
