Next weekend, the long weekend, Cross Country will be held at Longreach on Saturday 10th June.
The following week will see the very popular “Willandra Country Classic” take place at Willandra on Saturday 17th June. This event has also been coined ‘the XCC Challenge’ because of the many hills. However if you’re not up for the long distance challenge, not to worry, as the event has a range of suitable options for participants of all ages and abilities, with distances starting from 2km.
The 2017 XCC Challenge incorporates the 2017 NSW Cross Country Championship as part of the event and Nowra Athletics Club would love to see as many Nowra members running in the gold and black colours as possible. Donations of cakes and slices from members for the cake stall are also requested.
All details of the program are available on the NSW Athletics website.
