It was a very small group of athletes who participated in cross country at Huskisson on Saturday 3rd June.
In the 1km event sole athlete, Hayley Astin-Briggs crossed the line in 09:55.
In the 2km event Ashleigh Astin-Briggs ran home 1st in 15:39 followed by Joshua Astin-Briggs in 14:58 and then Winter Bell in 14:47.
There were 7 athletes in the 3km event and it was Miller Bell who took the line honours in 18:17. William Anderson was 2nd in 18:34 and Lisa Carroll was 3rd in 19:49. Harry Thomson was 4th with the fastest time of 14:57 whilst Emerson Boatswain was 5th as the fastest female in 16:21. Angela Bond was 6th in 20:57 and Glenn Sansom was 7th in 20:58.
Medium course had just 3 contenders. Newcomer Daniel Wood took the win in 22:46 but it was Scott Armstrong in 2nd place who had the fastest time of 21:01 whilst Alex Arnold was 3rd in 35:49.
There were no long course participants this week.
