Round 15 of cross country was held at Worrigee on 24th July.
There were two contenders in the 1km with Archie Gallagher crossing first in front of Isabella Crawford.
In the 2km event Miller Bell was first home followed by Winter Bell then Isabella Mitchell. Lana Crawford was the fastest competitor, crossing in fourth place in 9.31 whilst Malachy Martin and Heidi McLaren rounded out the field.
The 3km was contested by nineteen athletes this week and was taken out by a female trifecta. Sharon Bryce crossed first, followed by Lucy Duncan then Ella Dyball. Next home was the Smart trifecta with Tom Smart in fourth, Evie Smart in fifth and Erin Smart in sixth. Fastest on course was Jett Goddard who crossed ninth in 11.22 whilst Cameron Baxter was almost as quick with 11.32.
Medium course had a great representation with twenty-two competitors. Donna Johnson took the win with Megan Fitt second and Toby Dyball third. The title for fastest was a three-way battle with Harrison Baxter taking the title with 20.12, followed closely by Tom Duncan with 20.24 and Dennis Smart with 20.53.
In long course non-member Mark Thirwall crossed the line first but the winning points went to Ming Leung. Erich Moeller-Duhme took second-place points and a speedy Scott Martin took third in a time of 35.53. It was an evenly contested race for fastest female between Rebecca Cooper who clocked 52.22 and Sabina Hamaty with 52.23.
