A record 2338 athletes lined up in the three distances at the Sydney Ten event on Sunday 7th May, at Sydney Olympic Park.
The Sydney 10 is renowned as one of the flattest, fastest 10km events in the country, and for 5 of Nowra’s athletes this year’s course resulted in PB’s!
Gavin Dyball has been training with consistent effort and was rewarded on the day with a new 10km PB of 45.51.
In the 5km fun run, Jade Mustapic finished in 20.59 whilst sister Alisha Mustapic completed the race in 23.54; both athletes earning a PB time. Mark O’Leary ran strongly to clock a new PB of 23.54 and Mel Mustapic also earned a PB with her time of 29.47.
