Cross country at Willandra on Saturday 26th May was a Non-Points scoring round due to a number of runners competing at the Miranda Relays.
Unfortunately, there was a Stopwatch error at the commencement of the events at Willandra so there were no times recorded for the 1 & 2km events. The committee apologises for any inconvenience.
In the 1km first across the line was Everlyn Jennings followed by Lailani Halliday. Third was Miller Bell then we had Cailyn Burbage, Heidi McLaren, Aiden McLaren, Malachy Martin and finally Winter Bell.
In the 2km the Division 1 winner was Amba Florence with Thomas Duncan running in second and Elijah Jennings taking third. Next was Anna Duncan followed by Harry Thomson, Emily McLaren, Evie Hill and Taj Barrett.
Division 2 was claimed by Noah Dyball whilst William Anderson took second and Layla Burbage took third. Next home was Dylan Cox, then Katie Martin and Matthew Chittick.
In the 3 km, it was Katie Leung who took line honours with Laura Burbage running in second and Matthew Higham taking third.
There were just five contenders in Division 2. The winner was Bridget Fairs whilst Darcy Arnold was second and Lucy Duncan was third. Caitlyn Fairs was fourth and Jasper Leung was fifth.
The medium course was taken out by Cristine Suffolk. Next home was Irwin Burbage then Casey Johnson.
In Division 2 the winner was Kyra Florence with Gavin Dyball second and Phil Duncan third. Meanwhile, Division 3 honours went to Jo Rudd and second and third were taken by Levi Wallis and Megan Fitt respectively.
Long Course saw Annette Sampson cross the line first followed by Bill Stahlhut then Rob Pickard. Elisha Bell was the first female home in 45:16 minutes. Division 2 was taken out by Michael Duncan with Sabina Hamaty second and Rebecca Cooper third.
