AACT 2022-23 Summer Series No 11 was held on 18th February at Woden Park.
At that meet, Alisha Mustapic contested the 400m hurdles and achieved a National Qualifier with her 4 second PB of 1.11.94. Alisha is now Brisbane-bound and we wish her the best of luck at the Australian Championships.
In the 100m, Max Marshall was 5th in his heat with 11.41 whilst Tom Brooks was 1st in heat 3 in 12.20.
In the 200m, Tom Brooks was 4th in 25.47 and in the 400m, he was 5th in 59.43.
There were 5 Nowra athletes in the 800m events. Will Dyball was 1st local athlete home in Heat 1, crossing in 2nd place in 1.57.92. Next home was Cooper Barrett in 5th place with 2.01.83 and Toby Dyball was 8th in 2.08.09. In Heat 2, Darcy Davis was 4th in 2.08.19 and in Heat 3, Cameron Baxter was 3rd in 2.30.26.
Harrison Baxter took the win in the 3000m in 9.27.99 whilst brother Oliver Baxter was 3rd in 10.00.92.
The energizer-Baxter brothers also contested the steeplechase, where Cameron took out the 14-15 years event in 7.28.64 and Harrison took out the U18 event in 6.37.00 followed by Oliver in 7.36.00.
