It was great to see so many new faces amongst familiar ones, at our Track and Field competition. We welcome everyone, of all ages and abilities and encourage members to invite friends and family to come along.
As a family Club, we love to see parents competing alongside their children. Sam Binney joined her children on the track this week for the first time, and tested herself over the 200m and 800m, as well as giving the field events a try with throws in discus and shot put. Family involvement extends generations and this season we have welcomed back masters athlete Rod Rose who has brought along his grandson Nathan Rose; and both are enjoying their athletics together.
