It seems nothing can stop Erin Smart this season! Erin broke another three records on Wednesday 21st November.
In the 200m Erin ran 27.54 to take down the record in the 30-39 years group.
In the 60m Erin sprinted over the line in 8.57 for another record.
Finally, Erin took the hat trick with a record in the 800m in a time of 2.29.61.

Our senior men, new to Nowra Athletics Club this year, Pete Berry, Kane Barrett and Mark O’leary went 1,2,3 in their heat of the 60m. Paul Musgrove, Carl Heidke and Andrew Havadjia also ran well in their heats, some of which were combined with our A grade men of Cooper Thomson, Daniel Hughes, Ethan Havadjia and Lachlan Kaszonyi.
In the womens 60m, senior runners Tracey Barrett and Leanne O’Leary ran well alongside A graders Sarah deVries and Jade Mustapic.
In the 800m Ethan Havadjia took out the senior event in front of Lachlan Kaszonyi and Erin Smart. Whilst the junior race was won by Cooper Barrett withToby Dyball second and Hamish McLaren third.
There were 17 participants in the 2km race. Marcus Baxter claimed victory with Ella Dyball running in second and Harrison Baxter was third. Peter Dooley was fourth and Cameron Baxter fifth.
Our youngest athletes jumped for joy in the long jump pit. Tom Smart jumped 1.75m and Ben Sproule recorded 1.45m. Amongst the C and D grades Charlie Heidke jumped the furthest with 4.61m. Macklin Berry jumped 3.65m, Hamish McLaren 3.60m and Harrison Baxter 3.53m. Just one centimetre separated brothers Liam and Dylan Johnstone with Dylan recording 2.94m and Liam 2.93m.
The C grade girls enjoyed discus where Talea Miller was a stand out with a massive throw of 30.65m. Emily McLaren and Alisha Mustapic both threw 16.45m whilst Jessie Moffat threw 15.90m and Laila Hartnett 11.72m.
