Two of our junior athletes competed in the 2021 NSW 3000m Championships at SOPAC Warm-up track on 13th November 2021.
This was the first Championship event back on the calendar for 2021 and it was also the largest edition of the NSW 3000m Championships that NSW Athletics has held, with 511 runners across 23x 3000m races (13x Men’s, 7x Women’s & 3x Community 3K’s).
To kickstart the season, Emily McLaren competed in the Womens G Race and finished 12th in 12.06.76. Big brother Hamish McLaren contested the Men’s M Race and was 16th with a time of 11.04.53.
