There were 2 new records set in the field on December 6th. In the 40-49 years discus, Anne Boatswain continued her throwing streak with another new record for her throw of 24.56m whilst Kerrie Jones also added another record to her name with her throw of 13.30m in the 70+ years javelin. Congratulations to both these athletes.
Hamish McLaren speared the biggest distance of the night with his throw of 41.91m in javelin. Tim Musson speared 38.06m, Tori Sayer had a good throw of 31.28m and Steve Schott was just a smidgen behind with 31.07m.
On the track Hamish Mclaren took out the 1000m in 03:03.68 followed by new member Tiffany Knight in 03:29.53 whilst Emily McLaren was 3rd in 03:39.97. Evie Binney was 4th and Emerson Boatswain and Zoe Musson were 5th and 6th, all running in under 4 minutes. In the 3000m there were just 2 competitors with Scott Armstrong taking the win in 11.06.15 followed by Tiffany Knight in 11.56.84.
In the sprint events, Emily McLaren had the fastest time over 100m clocking14.47. Steve Schott was not far behind with 14.66 and Alisha Mustapic was next fastest with 14.97.
in the 400m, there were 3 heats. Skyla Jackson took out heat 1 in 1.16.91 followed by Emerson Boatswain in 1.21.96 then Heidi Savianne in 1.31.15. Thor Jackson won heat 2 in 1.27.62 with Jack Savianne 2nd in 1.41.26 and Darcy Binney 3rd in 1.45.01. Heat 3 was won by Evie Binney in 1.14.21 whilst Emily McLaren was 2nd in 1.14.55 and Zoe Musson was 3rd in 1.14.78.
