Erin Smart set three new records at Nowra’s Track and Field competition on November 16th.
In the 100m Erin clocked 13.36 beating the previous record of 13.40 set by Lynda Douglas in the season of 2009-10. Erin then backed up in the 150m to run 20.28, again breaking a record set by Lynda Douglas. The previous record was 20.80 from the 2008-09 season.
Not finished there, Erin then ran 1.02.65 for a new record in the 40-49 years 400m, smashing the previous record of 1:08.70 set by Linda Weatherill in 2007-08.
Meanwhile in the field Tori Sayer threw a new record in the hammer with a distance of 27.25 metres.
Also throwing hammer was Mel Jennings who threw 23.78m and Leanne O’Leary who threw 16.98m, which was great throwing preparation for this week’s upcoming throw relays at NSW Relay Championships.
