Last week saw a small number of dedicated athletes competing at Wednesday night track and field. Perhaps the final game of State of Origin kept people away. Nevertheless, those who did compete enjoyed a successful evening of competition.
In wind assisted conditions, Erin Smart broke the 60m record yet again in a time of 8.33. She also broke the 600m record, when she crossed in second place in 1.40.69. There’s just no stopping her!
