Cross Country was held at Longreach on 8th June. Numbers were slightly down due to the long weekend however there was still plenty of running prowess and enthusiasm on show.
In the 1km event Hannah Vonk was first home followed by Connor Bohme, Malachy Martin and Aiden McLaren.
2km Division 1 saw Samuel Vonk take line honours over Nathan Vonk whilst in Division 2 it was Noah Dyball who took the win in front of Heidi McLaren, Mali Mustapic and Scott McLaren.
Toby Dyball was the winner of the 3km event in the fastest time of 11:32. Running in second was Tom Duncan in 13:58 and in third was Peter Dooley in 13:17.
Division 2 was taken out by Jasper Leung followed by Lucas Charalambous, Harriet Urquhart, Katie Martin and Alison Havadjia.
Medium course victory went to Lucas Johnson in 27:29. Next home was Bridget Fairs in 26:02 and third was Paul Duncan in 26:02. Bradley Sawyers crossed in fourth place but clocked the fastest time of 21:14 followed closely by Jasper Arnold in fifth who clocked the next fastest time of 21:40.
Division 2 winner was Alastair Urquhart with Lucy Duncan second and Phil Duncan third.
In Division 3 it was John Price who took the win followed by Alex Arnold and Lisa Carroll.
Scott Johnson claimed victory in long course in 43:19 followed by Michael Duncan in 51:08 and Perry Strand in 43:31. Robin Vonk crossed in eighth place but was the fastest with 36.58.
In Division 2 Wayne Williams took the points for the win with Sue Strand second and Rebecca Cooper third.
