Meanwhile the senior event was taken out by Cam Musgrove in 1.38.93 minutes followed by Brad Sawyers in 1.45.63 and Dennis Smart in third in 1.50.57. It was great to see Lisa Carroll taking a break from canteen duty to have a run before the season end and newcomer Caitlin Shaefer returned for another run finishing 12th in the senior field.
In the sprints the Baxter boys; Cameron, Harrison and Oliver ran well as did Reilly and Tynan Caswell and Noah and Toby Dyball. Harry Thomson, Tom Smart and Malachy Martin also performed well. In the girls races Laila Hartnett, Katie Martin, Emily McLaren, Evie Smart and the Musson trio of Jessie, Claire and Zoe all ran with enthusiasm.
Next Wednesday 28th February will be the final Track and Field night for the season. The Committee hopes to see everyone there to run, jump and throw for the last time this season.
