A small group of runners hit the trails at Longreach Rd on Easter Saturday.
Hazel Saviane was first across the line in the 1km event in 7.19 with Josie Sproule hot her heels in 7.20.
There were 9 competitors in the 2km event and it was Ivy Donougher who took the line honours in 10.03 followed closely by Benny Sproule in 10.04. Will Sproule was 3rd in 11.17 then Callum Armstrong was 4th in 11.52. Isla Saviane was 5th in 11.18, followed by Mila Bozikov in 10.05. Hugh Sproule was next home in 10.42, then Phoebe Armstrong was 8th in 12.44 and Winter Bell was 9th in 13.30.
The 3km event had 8 participants. Zoe Musson was the victor in 20.48 whilst Jack Saviane was 2nd in 23.52 and Tim Musson was 3rd in 22.13. Tom Smart was the fastest runner over 3kms, crossing in 4th place in 17.58. Heidi Saviane was 5th in 20.35 and Grace Rose was 6th in 33.55. Miller Bell was 7th in 23.33 and Evie Smart was 8th in 22.38.
Medium course winner was Nathan Rose in 27.07 whilst Matt Reid was fastest over this distance in 2nd place in 17.59. Third place getter was Scott Armstrong in 18.13 followed by Rod Rose in 27.07, then Eva Moeller-Duhme in 37.33, Dennis Smart in 18.49 and Lisa Carroll in 28.28.
There were also 7 competitors in the long course and the winner was Leith Babian with the quickest time of 43.04. Scott Martin was 2nd in 45.35 and Erich Moeller-Duhme was 3rd in 1.04.25. Elisha Bell was 4th in 51.28 followed by Perry Strand in 53.46. Rebecca Cooper was 6th in 1.00.20 and Marty Bell rounded out the field in 57.42.
