Summit Shoalhaven 2024 was held on Sunday 28th July in cold and windy conditions.
Angela Bond contested the 11km fire trail run and finished in 1.06.56 taking 1st place in the 50-59 years category.
Dean Bryce also contested the 11kms and took the win in the 50-59 years category with a time of 54.00. In the same age category, Gavin Dyball took the silver in 56.46 and John Bond was 7th in 1.21.17.
Meanwhile, Casey Johnson completed the 21.1km fire trail loop through Bugong National Park. Casey survived the demanding terrain to take the bronze medal position for the 18-24 years group in 2:02:01.
Marty Bell had a great run over the half marathon with a time of 2.03.17 to place 7th in the 40-49 years group.
Bill Turnbull also challenged himself over the 21.1kms and finished 20th in the 40-49 years group in a huge PB of 3:25:02.
