There were 3 field records set on November 15th.
All-rounder Emerson Boatswain speared a new javelin record of 20.60m in the 10-11 years age group. Tori Sayer set a new hammer record of 28.85m in the 30-39 years group and Tim Musson also set a new hammer record, with 29.85m in the 40-49 years event.
The 600m junior race was won by Sylas Murphy in 2:04.85 with Skyla Jackson 2nd in 2:05.36 and Emerson Boatswain 3rd in 2:05.78. Meanwhile the senior race, which was unfortunately not timed, was won by Evie Binney. Zoe Musson was 2nd and Aurora Boatswain was 3rd.
The senior sprints had some closely contested races. Across the 60m event, Matt Reid was the fastest with 8.04. Steve Schott finished in 8.20, Tom Brookes 8.38, Alisha Mustapic 8.90 and Harry Thomson 8.99. Over 100m, Matt Reid clocked 12.50, Cooper Thomson clocked 12.71, Steve Schott 12.96 and Tom Brookes 12.97 with Alisha Mustapic not far behind the boys with 14.08. Harry Thomson also held his own against the older athletes, clocking 14.15.
In the 1500m, Zoe Musson took the win in 6:00.44 whilst Emerson Boatswain was 2nd in 6:12.80 and Heidi Saviane was 3rd in 6:42.02.
