Kerrie Jones competed in the NSW Masters Throws Pentathlon State Championships in Wollongong on February 25th.
Kerrie contested the womens 65 + age group. In the 3kg hammer event, Kerrie threw 16.38m and in the 3kg shot put, she achieved 5.82m. In the discus, Kerrie hurled 14.59m and in javelin she speared 12.48m. For the 5.45kg weight throw, Kerrie managed 8.17m giving her a total of 1960 accumulated points.
Kerrie finished in 4th place giving her six 4th places at State this season.
This is a great achievement, considering Kerrie is coming back from injury, regaining her strength and mobility in her wrist. Well done Kerrie!
