In the field the youngest athletes showed lots of enthusiasm in long jump and shot put. Addison Galloway put in the biggest jump of 3.73m with plenty of height off the board. Little Rosie Saviane and Kayleigh Kingdom both got close to the 1m mark with 0.95m and 0.90m respectively. In shot put the biggest throw came from Thor Jackson with 8.11m well ahead of the next best distance of 7.45m from Macca Davis.
This winds up the pointscore competition. Please come along next Wednesday night where there will be a variety of fun events, the presentation of medals for all pointscore winners in each grade and a free sausage sizzle. We ask everyone to bring something sweet to share for dessert.
