The 2022 Canberra Times Marathon Festival was held on Sunday 10 April 2022. A selection of long-distance running enthusiasts from Nowra Athletics Club participated in the running festival.
Dean Bryce contested the 10km event, finishing in 52.18 as the 197th male and was 28th in the 50-59 years age group, whilst wife Sharyn Bryce demonstrated her ongoing commitment to running and her resilience by completing the distance in 1.12.12 and placing 73rd in the 50-59 years.
Angela Bond ran a quick time of 54.57 and was the 122nd female across the line and the 16th competitor in the 50-59 years group. Holly Bond also contested the 10kms and snuck in under an hour, clocking 59.08 and was 67th in the 18-29 years group.
Erich Moeller-Duhme had a great run in the 10kms finishing in 57.45 as the 5th athlete in the 70+ years male category whilst Eva Moeller-Duhme also had a good run over the 10kms finishing in 1.20.29 and also placing 5th in the 70+ years female group.
Robyn Khourey Is clearly enjoying her running now and completed the 10kms in 1.27.01 and was 90th in 50-59 years female category.
Meanwhile Peter Khourey contested the marathon distance and crossed in 3.54.18 and was 8th in the 60-69 years group. Ming Leung also challenged the marathon and was marginally behind Peter, clocking 3.55.21 and was 50th in the 50-59 years group.
