Great results from 2019 NSW Junior Championships at SOPAC this weekend.
Lauren Percival won silver in the U16 100m and bronze in the 200m. Lauren ran a solid 100m taking out the heat in 12.61 then finished up with a second place in the final in 12.71. In the 200m Lauren again won her heat in 25.99 and in the final ran in third in 26.47.
Ella Dyball took gold in the U16 3000M in 11.00.04 then backed up for a bronze in the 2000m steeplechase in 7.55.94.
Alexis Charalambous claimed bronze in the U16 3000m, recovering from a fall mid-race to clock 11.29.67. Alexis also finished 5th in the steeplechase in 8.06.83
Hannah Brian ran a top race in the U15 100m, clocking a PB of 13.17 for 4th fastest qualifier. She then ran another PB of 13.06 in the final for 4th place.
Lachlan Kaszonyi ran a PB in the U20 400m and finished 6th in his heat in 53.10 (16th overall).
Will Dyball was 10th in the U15 800m in 2.18.79 and Jacob Pepper in his first State competition finished 14th in the U16 3000m in a time of 10.37.81.
Brodie McCluskey was 8th in her heat of the U14 100m in 14.36 and 15th overall then in the 200m she was 6th in her heat with 29.67 and 13th overall.
