After a wash out the previous week, competition at Track and Field on Wednesday 20th November was hot! There were 2 records broken, 1 new record established and 2 records equalled.

Our youngest members continue to be the most enthusiastic and resilient. It’s great to see them having a go each week and they are always well supported by family and friends. Amongst these young athletes are Talekai Puckridge, Kayleigh Kingdom, Coco Prayetno and Xander Day. Also Jaxon Keogh, Hazel Saviane, Isla Saviane, Zepplin Blinksell, Willy Sproule, Phoebe Armstrong and Kiefer Spearpoint.
In other news, at the Treloar Series Round 5, held on Saturday 23rd November, Jonah Watson contested the 110m hurdles and clocked 17.07 to earn himself a national qualifier. After suffering a fall earlier this month during a hurdles race, Jonah has picked himself up and committed to refining his technique and was rewarded with this fantastic result. Congratulations Jonah.
