Tori Sayer set a new record in 30-39 years shot put on 1st March, throwing 9.26m to break the previous record of 9.15m, set by Tracey Laverty in the 1994-95 season. In the hammer circle, Tim Musson threw the hammer 24.40m for a new record in the 40-49 years group, exceeding his own record throw of 20.51m from last week.
In the 1500m there were 13 competitors and the field was led home by Hamish McLaren followed by Scott Martin and Gavin Dyball.
Evie Binney won heat 1 of the 600m with Tom Smart 2nd and Harry Thomson 3rd. In heat 2, Gavin Dyball was the victor in front of Scott Martin and Emily McLaren.
Sam Keogh was the fastest over 60m with a time of 9.28. Harry Thomson clocked 9.40, Emily McLaren 9.50 and Loretta Norris 9.52.
In the 100m, Harry Thomson was quickest with 14.94. Next fastest was Sam Keogh with 15.10 then Scott Martin in 15.21. Emily McLaren clocked 15.49, whilst Evie Binney crossed in 15.71 closely followed by Loretta Norris in 15.72.
