Cross Country will commence on Saturday 24th March at Willandra.


 
The Nowra Athletics Club has been providing Athletics to people of all ages and abilities for over 50 years. Valentine's Day Athletics

Nowra athletics track and field was held last Wednesday night on Valentine's Day. Whilst numbers were down it was obvious which die-hard athletes love their athletics more than romantic dinners.

2018 NSW Junior Championships

Nowra Athletics juniors performed exceptionally well at the  2018 NSW Junior Championships held at SOPAC from the 9th to the 11th February. Nowra had 21 competitors in the black and gold and once again did the Club proud.

Nowra Show 1km Race

The 2018 Nowra Show 1km handicap race was held on Saturday 10th February with 14 competitors. The race got under way with Katie Martin leading the field away as go marker. Katie managed to hold a good lead at the halfway mark. Behind her Talea Miller and Emily Mclaren worked hard to close the gap.

NSW Country Championships 2018

The 73rd NSW Country Championships were held in Wollongong over the Australia Day long weekend. Nowra had 58 athletes competing across various track and field events with a number of athletes making their Country Champs debut.

Throwing Records broken 31.1.18

There were two records broken last week at Nowra Athletics Track and Field competition. Doug McNally threw the shot put 8.77 metres to set a new record, throwing 3 cms more than the old record.

A Weekly Track & Field Competition is conducted at 6pm each Wednesday from October through to March.
Competition is held at the Ron Brown Sporting Complex, Park Rd, Nowra - (Behind Shoalhaven High School).
All ages & all abilities are welcome. We offer competition for all family members at the same time and venue & are very proud to be classed as a Family Friendly Club.
